Emily & Luke’s Wedding at The Garden of the God’s Club
I don’t know if we have the words to describe the feeling of gratitude and honor that we felt capturing Emily & Luke’s wedding. They are truly compassionate and inspiring people who live out their beliefs instead of just talking about them. Their entire day was filled with moving moments about service to others and a humble willingness to fight when others do not. They even asked their wedding guests to donate to their favorite charities in lieu of wedding gifts.
We cannot say enough about Jewish wedding ceremonies. Emily & Luke’s Jewish/interfaith ceremony itself was especially poignant because of 1) the Rabbi’s skills in public speaking and 2) the choice Emily & Luke made to have seven family members and friends speak briefly on their own interpretations of the Seven Blessings (Sheva Bachot). We’ve never seen that before and it made the ceremony even more beautiful.
We are so happy to have been chosen to capture Emily & Luke’s amazing day. Thank you both! And thank you to their incredible wedding planner, Ileen Hoekman at Once Upon a Wedding, for putting together such an amazing day for this deserving couple.
