A Wedding at Red Rocks Ranch near Westcliffe: Rebekkah & Gabe
Charlotte and I are coming up on 8 years of marriage, and since we had just a little intimate ceremony back in the day, we always wanted to have a wedding-esque 10-year anniversary vow-renewal. It would be the wedding of our dreams (that we never had). So, in 8 years of photographing weddings, we’ve seen a ton of options when it comes to venues. Nothing has impressed us more than Red Rock Ranch at the top of the world near Westcliffe, CO.
It’s not a huge compound, and can only accommodate 50-60 or so guests, but what it may “lack” in terms of capacity it more than makes up for in charm, breathtaking scenery, and fun. It has a swimming pool, hot tubs, volleyball court, HUGE outdoor fire pits, outdoor bars, verandas… it’s secluded, and it has views to die for. The Sangre de Cristo mountains are some of the most jagged, awe-inspiring peaks in the world, and the ceremony looked right out at them. We loved it, and after you see our favorite photos from Rebekkah and Gabe’s wedding, we think you will agree: Red Rock Ranch is spectacular.
I’m not saying the plans are set. I’m just saying that this venue really blew us away, and it’s at the top of our list in two years.
