Wedding Photography at Sanctuary Golf Course in Sedalia, CO

Sanctuary Golf Course is a true wonder. It is one of the world’s finest private golf courses (owned by Dave and Gail Liniger of Re/Max International), and it also happens to be one of the finest wedding venues in Colorado. 

What makes Sanctuary unique?

Many wedding venues in Colorado have great views, but most of them sit below the mountain, in a valley or on a plain. Sanctuary sits high above Daniel’s Park and the valley below. Consequently, the mountains are almost level with the venue. Unlike nearly every other venue, this gives Sanctuary end-of-daylight sun longer. It almost feels like shooting weddings in the Midwest, where those glowing reds and deep warm oranges streak across the landscape as the sun sits low in the sky, just above the horizon.

Another aspect of Sanctuary that really makes it stand out is its quality of construction and lovely architecture. Everything is real, rich, and expertly crafted here. No facades or faux anything. Luxury is the focus, and that is especially clear in the bridal room and groom’s room. At some venues, the getting ready rooms can just be a regular, small-ish room off to the side. Not at Sanctuary! Here the wedding party gets the entire locker rooms, with plush leather sofas, TV, and cocktail service.
