David & Diana’s Rainy yet Perfect Wedding at Shove Chapel & The Mining Exchange Hotel
Many photographers and brides alike balk at the idea of rain on their wedding day. Yes, rain is frustrating in terms of ease of the timeline, but so many more amazing opportunities spring up because of the different looks we get in a rainstorm. Wet ground offers opportunity for dramatic reflections, the dark ominous skies at drama to outdoor photos, and of course, photographers know that having flat even light in sunny Colorado is rare and wonderful.
In short, yes the rain did make things difficult, but we got some amazing images from Diana & David’s wedding day. Much of the credit goes to the indomitable bride and groom, who’s spirits were never dampened by the downpours and who make a beautiful couple.
