Carrie & Roland’s Wedding at The Air Force Academy Chapel & The Association of Graduates Building
Roland & Carrie’s wedding was a true USAFA adventure. The groomsmen were supposed to get ready at The AoG building before the wedding, but we unfortunately found the building was locked. So a mad dash in a caravan of cars, we all crammed into the sacristy behind the USAFA Chapel’s altar and the guys got ready. It actually lent itself to a lot of laughs as we tried not to touch body parts in that tight space.
This wedding also marked the first time we got access to the terrazzo at The Academy. There’s a hill in the middle of the grassy area that perfectly frames the Chapel behind it at sunset, so we were super stoked to get this new dramatic angle with Carrie’s veil blowing in the wind.
Lastly, we don’t photograph many receptions at The Association of Graduates building, but it really does lend itself to a cool space for a reception, and the views are really cool of the forest surrounding it.
Thank you, Roland and Carrie, for giving us the honor of capturing your amazing day!
