Camron and Mandy met and fell in love handling K-9s for the military. Clearly, Camron is a keeper because he went above and beyond for this carefully orchestrated proposal at The Briarhurst Manor in Manitou Springs. Not only did he have a bouquet of roses waiting for them at the table for dinner, but he hired me (Trig) to capture not only the proposal but also some portraits of them caught up in the giddy excitement afterwards.

Well, as all carefully planned events go (like weddings, lol, this will be great practice, Camron), certain things drifted off track. Dinner ran late, there weren’t any clouds in the skies (so no sunset photos like we’d talked about), and it got really, really dark…

It was perfect!

Mandy said “yes” and that’s all that really matters, and I ended up really enjoying shooting in the darkness of the perfect summer night at The Briarhurst ( a very handsome building at night, I must say). Mandy and Camron were simply glowing with joy and a joy to photograph, as well.

Thank you both for letting me capture such an amazing new chapter in your lives, you two. And Camron, thank you for choosing me, and for making all the rest of us and our crappy proposals look bad! lol
