I met Kasey and Drew up at the Riverun at Keystone a few weeks ago. She and Drew were out on a whirlwind weekend of wedding planning, and part of that was getting engagement photos done.

Contrary to many expectations, Colorado’s High Country had yet to “cross over” into Spring, and sadly, much of the surrounding mountainsides were just dirty and brown from all the melting snow (it is called “mud season” for a reason).

However, the Village at Riverun was pristine, clean, and pretty much a ghost town. We had it all to ourselves (actually, Mud Season is a great time to stay in the High Country, because a lot of the stores and restaurants remain open, even though nobody’s there, so you pretty much have the run of the place…), and we took ful advantage of it!

Laugh, be in love, have fun, and we’ll take care of capturing the moments you give us. Just like Kasey and Drew did.

Thanks for giving me such great stuff, you two. You are perfect together!
