I’ve been a photographer in Colorado Springs for almost 10 years now, and I am ashamed to admit I’ve never photographed a session before at Memorial Park. In fact, I’d never even been to Memorial Park.

Crazy. I know.

It’s a fantastic place, with a lake! Yup. A lake! Didn’t know it was there.

It’s not that I’ve never been to that part of town. Our doctor was down there when we were pregnant with our kiddos, I was just across the street last year to see an orthopedic surgeon, I’ve got friends who live near there… I just never noticed it, I guess.

Well, thanks to Kati & David, now I have noticed it, and I am impressed. So many great shooting angles, so many great views, and lots and lots of green trees! I loved it, and I had a blast photographing their engagement portraits for them.

I’m worried what else I’ve been missing in this town, now…. ; )
