So, here I am driving up to Boulder for Lauren and Spencer’s engagement shoot, when suddenly: nothing but brake-lights ahead of me. And then the rain hit. And not a little rain, the big fat drops of rain like they use for break-up scenes in Hollywood movies.

The traffic wasn’t moving, and I had a loooooong way to go, and it looked like this rain was here to stay.

But I pushed on, and when I got to Boulder (late), Lauren and Spencer were all smiles and umbrellas.

“Let’s do this!”, they said.

And we did. In the rain.

I don’t know how we did it, but we did, and the results are awesome! One-of-a-kind photo-shoot I would say, because most people aren’t going to be as gung-ho about the rain as Lauren and Spencer were.

I’ve never shot in heavy rain before, and this was really challenging and fun. Thanks for toughing it out for such great shots, you two!
