Westcliffe, CO is officially my new favorite place to take engagement portraits!

It’s been a long time since I’ve been to Westcliffe. My high school used to play Custer County in football and basketball, so the last time I was in the actual town was probably 1998!

Well, this is the first time I’ve been able to do portraits there, and my gosh, it is SOOO fun to take photographs. The Sangre de Cristo mountains are so jagged and cool, and they just explode out of the vast wide plains and just into the sky like something out of The Lord of the Rings.

Obviously, Maddie and Andrew are a stunningly handsome couple, so that makes photography easy. Not to mention they are totally at ease with each other and completely comfortable in each other’s arms.
