With the closing of Rockledge Ranch this year to photographers, we’ve been forced to find a new “it” spot for Autumn portraits, and I’ve been just delighted with re-discovering Red Rock Canyon Open Space. It’s such an eclectic mix of soaring red rock spires, mountain vistas and even a pond with lots of geese and ducks!
It’s a bit of a hike to get back into the good parts, but it is oh-so-worth it! Just wear some cute but comfy shoes and we’re off on a family adventure.
I can’t say enough about this family, The Burdettes. They were such a joy to photograph. All of the kids were so uniquely extroverted and had great personalities, and it’s clear that Mom and Dad really had true affection for each other. I love capturing photos of families like these guys!
