We love Jewish weddings. Why? Because they are ALWAYS fun. Erin and Sam’s was no exception, and here’s why Jewish weddings are always fun:
While the ceremony may sometimes very… well, ceremonial… and there’s a whole lot of Hebrew being recited in a very observant and respectful atmosphere… BUT, there is always such a shot of joy and excitement when the groom’s foot comes crashing down on that glass and everyone exclaims, “mazal tov!”.
Instant jubilation!
I can’t put my finger on why, but Jewish weddings just feel more fun at the receptions. Probably because of the group dancing that gets everyone present involved (the Hora) and the group singing (Hava Nagila), and the group efforts by friends not to drop the bride and groom on their heads when they go up in the chairs…
I love the tradition. I love the Hebrew prayers. I love the jubilation and the dancing.
I love that Erin and Sam entrusted us to capture their perfect day.
Thank you both!
