Betcha can’t tell, but it poured rain on Jennifer and Matt’s wedding.
That’s always one of the more “exciting” aspects of having your wedding in Colorado: really volatile weather patterns. The nice part is the rains hardly ever last more than a half hour or so, and the sun still shine well over 300 days a year. However, sometimes the wind blows and the rains pour, but as long as you’ve got a great attitude about it (like Jennifer and Matt), then there’s always a bright side.
For instance, we could never have captured that gloriously streaming soft sunlight of not for the heavy moist air from the storm. And when the sun peeked through, it was spectacular.
Yes, did we have to get a little wet to get the shots? Sure. But you can’t really tell, and when it came time for the ceremony it was simply a matter of wiping off the seats and getting on with our day.
Thank you Jennifer and Matt for trusting us to capture your wedding, and thank you for having such great attitudes about the rain!
