Wind.

Not just a stiff breeze. But 70+ mph gusts!

Colorado was NOT playing nice on Brandi and Andrew’s special day. It was the kind of windy that almost hurts. Makes your eyes squint. Makes you tired. It was awful.

This gusty day could have been awful if not for two priceless ingredients: an unshakable couple and two intrepid photographers.

We weren’t going to let Mother Nature dictate the photography. We were going to get the shots. And this took patience, lots and lots of patience. Patience to wait through the terrible wind for those ever-so-brief moments of relative calm to shoot like crazy. Patience to constantly stop and fix veils and hair and simply laugh because there were times Brandi’s dress was almost up and over her head.

Brandi and Andrew were awesome through it all. So loving, so energetic, and so fun.

So we got a little wind-whipped: who cares? We got the shots and Brandi and Andrew got married. Mission accomplished!
